We are taking a break from Made to Crave today to officially introduce our next Online Bible Study on this blog. And I thought there was no better way to tell you about it, than to sit down and talk to the author of our next study myself.
Rachel Olsen is the Senior Editor for the Proverbs 31 Online Daily Devotions, Encouragment for Today. She is also the author of our next book, It’s No Secret, which you will begin to recognize around here as, INS 
Melissa: Rachel, I have so many women who don’t want MTC to end. Why is your book, INS, a good follow up to MTC?
Rachel: We’ve heard these last few weeks about the importance of water, fiber, and Omega oils from the webcasts. And we’ve learned to use Scripture to fight our food temptations. But the main thing we’ve learned is that we’ve got to crave God more than food. Our emotional, spiritual, and even physical health depends on us developing an appetite for God’s presence and His Word – becoming doers of that Word, and not just consumers of that Word. It’s No Secret is a girlfriends’ guide to help us do exactly that.
Melissa: For women who didn’t do MTC or even for those who have never done a Bible study before, why is INS a good place to start?
Rachel: Our lives feel busy and complicated and sometimes disappointing. We have crammed schedules, unpaid bills, interpersonal conflicts, or unmet expectations that weigh us down. Sometimes we wonder, “What’s a girl to do?” And, “How can God help me deal with this?” It’s No Secret answers those questions. What’s more, you’ll be digging into God’s Word to discover His answers for yourself.
Melissa: What value will women who read INS walk away with?
Rachel: They will:
*Grow spiritually, despite life’s setbacks.
*Tame the impulses that keep us striving.
*Handle petty conflicts or criticisms with grace.
*Relax unrealistic expectations in favor of emotional stability.
*Find satisfaction in yielding wholeheartedly to God.
Melissa: Any other thoughts to share with our readers?
Rachel: I’m really excited Melissa, that you are gathering women online to study my book together. There is a strong sisterhood message in It’s No Secret: Revealing Divine Truths Every Woman Should Know. We need sisters to process life and God’s Word with. So, I’m convinced we’ll grow closer to one another, as well as closer to Christ through this study. It’s gonna be fun!

Can’t wait for the INS study…loving MTC, but have fallen a little behind. I lost my sweet sister this past Thursday and her funeral is tomorrow the 16th. I am going to miss her, but I am so thankful that she is no longer in pain.2010 has been a very trying year for our family and 2011 is off to a rough start, but I am so very grateful for the bible studies as they have been encouragement to me and couldn’t have come at a better time in my life, but as always God’s time is perfect.

I missed the MTC Bible study, but I am looking forward to this one. I have gotten the MTC book so I can read it before this Bible study starts. This book sounds like something that I could use some help with so I’m looking forward to it

I have never done an online Bible Study, but have always wanted to try one. I am praying that the Lord will empower me to join this one because I am struggling with my self-worth and I want a deeper/closer relationship with God. I have been journaling and reading His Word for 46 days straight, which is a major accomplishment and I give God all the glory. I am actually “craving” my time with God these days and I thank Him every day. I have been asked to lead a Small Group at my church starting in April and I found myself saying “yes” without hesitation. Now I am second guessing my decision, so I pray about it daily. I know Satan will try to get to me, so I must stand strong in the Lord. I think this Bible Study would be great for me because the Small Group is going to be kind of a support group for everyday life issues where we can come together and share our experiences, pray together about them and discover that we are not alone, others face the same challenges as we do.
Can’t wait to dig into this bible study. I’m very excited to learn and grow! Thank you for doing this foor me and so many others!

An online Bible study – - how marvelous! It’s been years since I’ve done an online study and recently have been hoping to find (craving!) another. What a blessing to “stumble” on this website.
I must share that the Scripture Jeremiah 29:11, at the top of this page is my ultimate favorite Scripture of many favorites. Three years ago the Holy Spirit told me to speak those exact Words, Jeremiah 29:11, to all of the women attending our Annual Women’s Retreat hosted by the church I attend. I remember, I was so nervous for some reason, but obeyed.
WoW! There were tears, rejoicing, peace, love and, laughter. Women came up to me afterwards and days later thanking me and telling me that what I had spoken had confirmed what the Lord had been saying to them. I was practically speechless, as this had never happened to me before.
Although I was able and did say don’t thank me, thank Him.
With all that said, I find it NO coincidence that I am here. I know He has lots to teach me personally and I am a vessel willing and eager to learn.
I absolutely love Bible Studies, I can’t seem to get enough. Whether it is online in person, interactive they are not only revelatory, but can be fun. I look forward to it in great anticipation for It’s No Secret

Looking forward to the study. Thanks so much for doing this online, this fits my lifestyle so well. I just found Proverbs 31 as I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes. Some of the principles I have learned have helped me lose over 50 lbs. I still have weight to lose, but more importantly, I still need/crave to learn how to love and be loved. Thanks again!

Your devotional today was a real blessing. How do I sign up for “the give-away books” you mentioned. I want so much to do the INS Bible Study and look forward to it. I have just been appointed Director of Women’s Ministries at our church and I need all the help I can get. I have just learned about the Proverbs 31 Ministry. I have been writing for the past year about truths that God has taught me through the years and have wondered how I might publish them, and then I find the P31 website and find that there will be a conference in July covering the very things I have been seeking. Isn’t God good?
Also, have wanted to get a website to share these truths, and again, I find through the P31 Ministry, I may be able to get help with this.

I am so grateful to our church “care guy” who emailed this information to me. After three years of extremely difficult living, I am now trying to give my problems and grief to GOD. I have never been in a bible study before, but I believe it could not have come at a better time and I am really looking forward to it.
