Our Very Next Choice

Thank you so much to everyone who joined me for the Made to Crave Online Bible Study. I don’t think I can adequately express what you have meant to me. I am extremely grateful for your time, support, encouragement, and commitment to this study. Although I was leading you, I was also walking this journey with you. And it has been great! You all have encouraged me and your participation has been priceless!

The MTC study on this blog is indeed over. With that said, I am still striving to live my healthy choices and will refer to my new found Go-To Scripts, Power Words, and Scripture to continue to empower me to stay on track. I am praying for each of you that even though the study is over, your healthy choices will remain.

The main idea in Made to Crave is that we are to satisfy our deepest desire with God, not food. Just because the book/study is over here, doesn’t mean that changes. The best way to make sure that doesn’t change is to remain in God’s Word. There are opportunities on this blog to remain in God’s Word (by continuing in the Online Bible Studies) or you can continue on your own. Either way, I pray that you will keep implementing what you’ve learned. Don’t quit. Don’t give up. You have the power in you to succeed. Sing it sistas….”I GOT DA POWAHHHH!’

The last few lines of Made to Crave say this:

Whether we’re on the path toward victory or defeat is determined by the very next choice we make. Not the choices from yesterday. Not the choices from five minutes ago. (so don’t beat yourself up over those!)

The next choice. Our very next choice. May it be that of an overcomer. An overcomer made to crave God alone.

Do you feel like an overcomer made to crave God alone?  I do. And I’m going to keep choosing God. How about you?  What’s your next choice?

Melissa

MY NEXT CHOICE IS TOO NEVER GIVE UP SERVING GOD WITH MY WHOLE HEART. KEEP ON KEEPING ON. THE DR THINKS THAT ALL THE PAIN I AM HAVING MAYBE FIBEOMYLIAGA. THRILL THRLL. BUT I AM AN OVERCOMER AND I WILL MAKE IT. BECAUSE I AM MADE TO CRAVE GOD AND HIS WORD . THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. I DO ASK FOR PRAYER BECAUSE THIS IS HARD RIGHT NOW TO DEALWITH. SAYING ALL THAT I HAVE THE VICTORY IN JESUS HE IS MY SAVIOUR MY LORD AND MY HEALER.

  2. Thank you so very much Melissa for sharing this study and yourself with so many of us. Reading your blog is a real treat and highlight of the day :)

Congratulations to you for your success to date on this journey. You are an inspiration in so many, many ways.

Always continue to be the same sweet, sharing and personable person that you are and may our God bless you and yours richly.

Looking forward to many more studies with you in the months and years to come.

  3. Melissa, thank you dear sweet friend for all your leadership during MTC. My next choice is to continue striving to crave GOD above all else. This means continuing my spiritual walk which I’ve already chosen to follow with you “No Secrets”, and to continue to strive to exercise and eating beneficially! With GOD first, all will be possible. (thinking of adding some housecleaning exercise in there somewhere!)
Thanks for all your inspiration, encouragement, and sound advice throughout MTC. Catch you on the flip side with No Secrets!

    Milissa,
I just wanted to thank you for your enthusiasm, encouragement, transparancy, faithfulness and love of the Lord. It has been great to be on this journey with you the last many weeks.
    God bless you!

  5. Thank you for leading this weight loss journey and teaching us to Crave God more. I will be continuing on with the next study but will also be on the discussion board that Kris is leading as we do the Made to Crave particpant guide and DVD. I appreciate all your time, effort ,”being so real” and resources to help us on this weight loss jorney. Hopefully we will all continue to make the very best next choice one day at a time.

  6. That was sooo much fun! and it was so eye opening! Thanks, Melissa, for being you, for being there, and for being real…I am now on a wonderful journey for health–physical AND spiritual.
    Love you girl!

  7. so… I’m running behind on this study but have been reading your blogs. Thanks so much for your dedication and your realness. Hoping to get back on track with the reading, and also do better with the implementation. I’m so glad that God is still working on me! =)

  8. Melissa, thank you SO much for all of your work with this study. Your realness and sincerity have been such an encouragement. God is definitely doing a “new thing” in my heart and in the hearts of others because of your willingness to lay it all out there. Thank you again for all you have done!

  9. This is really more about exercise. For every pound of muscle you develope, you burn an additional 40-50cal per day! (Robert Reames, author) So…girlfriend get up, and enjoy your exercise! Although I have struggled with continuing to make health minded food choices, today I have and that is awesome. That we have the opportunity to make a choice that will honor God, and draw us into the place that he desires us to be, the light shining in the darkness!
Melissa, do you think you could still pray for ….. me? Thank-you! Karin
