The Party Has a Winner :)

Thank you SO MUCH to all who shared and commented on my blog yesterday.  I read every single comment!

For those of you who are still hurting over a previous loss, I’m sorry for your loss and your pain. I understand. I want to encourage all of us in that position to mourn and take the time necessary to grieve, but also don’t ever stop living. Living life to the full was intended for all of us.  I love you and I’m praying for you.

For those encouraged to live life to full no matter what your circumstances (hopefully that’s all of us!), well good!  It was my hope when writing “I’ll See You At The Party” to use Little Granny’s words to bring you hope about where you are going and inspiration to live life fully today.

Your words touched my heart.  Selecting a winner today was easy. Only because it was random. I used a random number generator to pick the comment of the winner. I could have never selected otherwise.  I wanted you ALL to win and I wish I was in the position to give more books away.  I think total between me and Rachel Olsen, we’ve given away a total of 6.  If you did not win, I hope you will still consider purchasing the book and joining the Bible study.  Just give me a call at the Proverbs 31 Office. The toll free number is 877-731-4663 and I’ll be happy to set you up with the book.  We need to get them mailed ASAP since the study officially begins this Sunday, March 27th.

Ok, enough talk.  Our winner today is:  tamerriell.  So if that’s you, email me at with your address and I’ll get that book in the mail to you today!  Congratulations!

Have a blessed day today y’all!  Remember Jesus’ Words, “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come so they may have life and have it to the full.”  So, don’t allow the thief or anything else to steal your joy today. You were made to live life!

Love and Blessings,

  1. Thanks for the comment, “You were made to live life”. I will make that mantra for today.

  2. Just found your blog and am a recent subscriber of the daily devotions too. For two days now I have been inspired and encouraged. An online study sounds interesting. Might be just what I need. Thanks for sharing your stories and inspirations and your walk with God.

  3. Today’s Proverbs 31 devotion really spoke to me. I have not experienced a loss by death recently, but am going through the empty nest experience without a lot of Joy. My kids are 19 & 20 and both attending a local college (I know I’m blessed to have them so close to home) but that still hasn’t made this transition any easier. Sadly, I find myself spending my life waiting to go to the party instead of living for the party – right now. I realize that my life here on earth is not always what I wished for but then I settle for a dull, just-getting-by life instead of the spiritually rich and abundantly full life Jesus offers. I am looking forward to studying “It’s No Secret”. I think the book will be very helpful to me.
