Sign Up for Encouragement and Win!

Today is the last day to be eligible to win our next Online Bible Study book. The book is Hidden Joy in A Dark Corner: The Transforming Power of God’s Story, by Wendy Blight.  In this study, “Wendy tells candidly of how she would often replay to herself fears, doubts, anxieties, accusations—and how she learned to capture those thoughts and replace them with assurance, wisdom, encouragement, hope, and truth.” I cannot wait to read this book with you! If you are in need of healing or living a completely free life, then this study is for you.

I’m giving this book away today.  All you have to do is sign up for the Proverbs 31 Daily Devotions or subscribe to the P31 Woman Magazine.  Or if you are already a subscriber, suggest or give it to a friend. Tell me about it (either you signing up/subscribing or suggesting/giving it) in the comment section of my blog and you will be entered to win Wendy’s book. It’s that easy. You have until 8 pm EST today to comment. Winner will be announced tomorrow.

In case you missed my little promo vlog for Proverbs 31 Ministries explaining exactly how to sign up for these awesome resources, watch this now.  (email subscribers, to view the video you will need to click on the title of this post at the top of the email. That will take you to the blog where you can watch.)

I will need to subscribe to the magazine as well! I always suggest and share links on my FB wall from Proverbs 31 Daily Devotions and many times, it’s helped many women that are on my friends list. I have clearly heard God’s calling to minister to women that find themselves struggling. Thank you for the great giveaway!

    • Sylvia,

Thank you so much for sharing Proverbs 31 on Facebook and with your friends! I love the devotions too, I’m thankful the Lord is using them in your life. Keep listening to the Lord’s lead, I’ll be interested in hearing about how He directs you in your calling! That’s so great!

  13. I already have both subscriptions and love the daily prompts to check my heart with the word of God. I have loved this INS study, although I didn’t say much online this time around :-) I am excited about the next study as well as the subject is very dear to my heart.

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in a bible study online. Too often, I find I don’t have many opportunities to study with a group of gals but this is so much better because it it more flexible with my schedule.

P.S. I will be suggesting the devotions and magazine to my friends Amy and Michelle.

    In Him,

    • Hey Amy, thanks so much for your sweet comment. I just love hearing how Proverbs 31 Ministries, Bible study, and God are all working together in our lives! Thank you for telling others about the great things going on here at P31 and I’m so glad you are participating in the next online study!

  15. Kristi S says:

I am already a subscriber to the Daily Devotional but have little money so I could not afford to subscribe to the newsletter. I suggested the daily devotional to my sister in Austin, Texas. However, I am also going to remind her of this online bible study. I sent my mother the free chapter and my mom gushed about it for weeks. She and I have been through some pretty horrible circumstances. My sister and I are planning on buying her the book for her birthday on May 18th. My mom is retired but has been supporting me since my illness last year. She is a wonderful soul and I think this book should help us heal. She still raves about your Made to Crave bible study. Thank you so much for all you do!

    • Hi Kristi! I love that you and family get connected through the devotions and Bible study! I hope your mom likes her book for her birthday :)

Give me a call at the office tomorrow, I’d like to talk to you about something. It’s a good thing I promise :) Our toll free number is 877-731-4663. I’ll be in the office from 9:30-4 pm EST. I hope to get to talk to you then!

      God Bless You Kristi!

  16. Oh count me in! This has been great! Would love a signed copy of the book! Please pick me!

  17. I am signing myself and my AWESOME friend Anna up for the magazine. Anna inspires and encourages me day in and out! She is such a strong beautiful person and I am so blessed to have her friendshi!

  18. Deena Kramer says:

I signed up for the daily devotional.
    Have a happy day!

  19. Hi Melissa!

I wanted to thank you for doing the INS online bible study, you are awesome!! I keep getting blown away by what I have learned so far, as well as the timing of when I needed to hear it. I am so thankful for doing the bible study, when I first found out about it I almost didn’t sign up for it because I was scared. I prayed about it before making a decision, and felt like God was telling me to step out in faith and see what He could do if I trusted Him to do the work. I ended up calling to order the INS book and was super excited when I got to talk to you on the phone, the words you said that day were such an encouragement and I was so happy I decided to trust God instead of give into my fears.

I just signed up for the magazine subscription and I can’t wait to start receiving it!! I have been getting the devotional for a while and have been extremely blessed by them!

Thank you so much for doing the online bible studies! I hope you have a wonderful evening!!

    • This is so great Amy! I love hearing your story and how you made the CHOICE to trust God! That’s not an easy thing to do, but you did it and I’m so glad you did. I hope you’ll join the next online study too!

So glad you like the devotions and I know you’ll love the magazine too!

  20. Kristi Deitrick says:

  22. marcia pegram says:

Melissa, I. Had been married 2 years on Dec. 28 and had to have surgery on my shoulder which took 3 hours. I have been in thearpy since. My own husband raped me one night after going to sleep. I have no knowledge of it ao I assume the same thing I guess u may. My husband told me the next morning. Which I think it has happened more than once. I laughed at first. Yes I laughed. I guess that was my way to cope with the shock at the moment. I have known Jesus since I was a young girl and was saved at a early age. I just couldn’t help but hate m husband. We were seperated for a few months but I kept feeling God tell me to forgive him. He came over one night and I sat down and told him I have nothing left for him. He was very hateful at first but looked at me as if he was saying, “its really over. He fell to his knees crying and praying. I at the time had no feelings for him. He ask me to pray for him and put my hand on his shoulder. I did and I also prayed to God to give me the right path to take. Mellisa , my heart got very warm and filled comple5tly up. It felt as if God poured a gallon of very warm water into my chest. It was an awesome feeling. I heard God tell me to give him one more chance. We have been to revival at church together and other than a few problems it,s. Been great.

  23. Carolyn Fontenberry says:

    Good morning Melissa,

God never ceases to amaze me. I and my family have been going through some very dark times, and at times a bit’ scary’; however, that is exactly how the enemy of our soul want us to feel. But, thanks be to God who gives us the victory! I know that we win (in spite of what I see and feel), however, in being honest, some days it’s more than a notion to keep moving forward. But then I will hear a still, small voice reminding me that the JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH AND NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER. Your book ‘s title leaped off my devotional this morning (I subscribe to Proverbs daily devotional – what a blessing). Please keep my son (whom ‘darkness’ consistently tries to wreck havoc in his mind) and my family in your prayers.
