It’s No Secret~Week 4

Connected

This is such a powerful word!  And it’s also our word of the week.

Being connected means we are joined.  We belong to something.  We are attached, invested, associated, and plugged in.  Maybe even understood.  Being connected feels good.

It is my hope that you are connected and feel connected to this Bible study.  And even more than that I hope you are connected and feel connected to God and His Word.

This week, it’s time to connect.

For those of you who took the time to comment on the last blog post/challenge…wow, I connected to you.  And I thank you for sharing!  Y’all if you haven’t read their comments, go read them!  Oh how I wish we could all sit together and chat about it. This study is changing and transforming lives!  I got so much out of reading your perspectives, experiences, and revelations.  I wish I could reward all of you with the “prize.”  But a winner of all those who commented was selected randomly (by the Random Number Generator on google) and Kim Goldstein is our winner!!!  Congrats Kim!  Email me your address and I will send you a copy of one of my favorite books, His Princess: Love Letters From Your King, by Sheri Rose Shepherd.

Let’s Get Started.

Share Your Thoughts and Win a Prize!

Today’s assignment is simple.

INS Gals, leave a comment today on this blog (not my email, that won’t count) listing 5 things from this study that have made an impact on you personally. Here are some suggestions:

*Things you have learned
*Made you say, “Whoa! That is for me!”
*Convicted you
*Moved you to action
*Caused you to consider a change
*Transformed your thinking
*Opened your eyes
*God spoke to you or revealed something to you

Your input will reveal new insight to others.  It is always helpful and inspiring for me to hear how God is working in the lives of others. It encourages and excites me to hear that God and His Word are making a difference!  So please share with all of us in this study.  Not only will you bless others, but you’ll also be entered to win a copy of one of my favorite books, His Princess, Love Letters From Your King, by Sheri Rose Shepherd.

I’m leaving today for Virginia to speak at a retreat.  I can’t wait to come back and read your comments on how this study is making a difference in your life.  I’ll randomly select a winner from all those who leave a comment containing their 5 things.  The winner will be announced on Monday along with the Week 4 assignments.

Have a great weekend!

Don’t Take Life Too Seriously.

Life can indeed be hard. We have a lot on our plates, many responsibilities and a lot to deal with. Every now and then you just gotta lighten up. Check out a little fun we’ve had around here lately. Hope this inpires you to enjoy life and to lighten up! ***if you subscribe by email and don’t see the videos below, click the “Don’t Take Life Too Seriously” title above. (I noticed that many yesterday who subscribe via email could not see the video that went with the post, which yesterday was the whole message and purpose of the post! So if you didn’t see the video clip on Fear yesterday you may want to check that out as well.)

So now you can end this day saying you saw a Cinderella head in a refrigerator, a little girl singing, my friend Sambo (Samantha Reed) with a large pizza and giving the roofer man the “what for”, and the little drummer boy drumming his heart out! Day complete!

Much Love Y’all!
