It’s sad day here on the Carolina Coast.
It’s time to leave this place I love so much. It’s time to pack up and go home.
Even though it’s sad to leave, I’m thankful I’m returning to a place I love even more than the beach, my home.
Our trip home consists of as many traditions as the vacation itself. We try to make it so the vacation isn’t over until the very last possible moment. Our car ride home is filled with fun games in the car like , Would You Rather?, ABC Name Game, I Got It!, Punch Buggy, and we make stops at some special places like an old General Store in a small town and at the Peach Stand for ice cream.
The best part about coming home is seeing our sweet doggies, Princess and Maggie.
Honestly, one of the reasons the beach is such a special place is because I don’t take it for granted. I only go a few times a year and only once for an extended time like this week has been. It’s special. My mom loved the beach too, which also makes it special tome. We’ve had meaningful family beach vacations ever since I can remember. Some of my first pictures ever of me were on the beach.
Good-bye beach…for now! I will miss you, thanks for a fabulous week!
Before I forget, let’s go visit Stephanie Clayton one last time during Week 5. She will be announcing the winners of both giveaways today! Make sure you tell her how much you’ve LOVED her insight and leadership this week! Then be sure and stop by Glynnis’ blog for a special message from her!
Aren’t we so blessed here to have such sweet, loving, and caring friends to help us along in our Bible study? Blessed x 1000!
Have a great weekend!

So glad you had a good time! Thanks for sharing why it’s so special to you
Melissa, I am so glad you have gotten to have some well deserved “refreshment” time! You are such a blessing to all of us! I have absolutely LOVED this study! And it’s amazing how we can feel like we know you girls from your pictures and devotions and obvious love for helping us get into His Word and develop and closer relationship with Him! My absolute favorite thing about this Bible Study has been developing the daily time with the Lord, studying His Word, praying, and actually falling in love with this precious time! You girls are AMAZING! Thank you ALL!!
Hello Melissa, I thoroughly enjoyed your post today, glad you had a nice break, it sounds like fun was had by all. Wishing you safe travelling. I am really enjoying getting to you all of you girls and really enjoying the devotions and thoughts and ideas and reading all the comments too. I have my special time with the Lord each morning and try to take every opportunity to read or pray. Thank you always for your encouragement.
