Greater Hop: Week Four

We know Christmas is literally around the corner. So if you don’t get around to these blog hop topics right away, don’t worry!! This particular Blog Hop will be open until January 10th!

First time hopping?, click HERE for a short tutorial.

This week’s suggested topics…

1.  For the Good. What are your thoughts on this week’s reflection verse?

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. ~ Romans 8:28 NIV84

2.  Wasted Faith. Talk about a challenging chapter!! Have you ever felt that your faith was wasted? Do you still feel that way or has God revealed the “good”? Share with us.

3.  Trust Fund Baby! Share your most memorable blessing from God. Was it unexpected?

Just for fun!

1.  Christmas. The sky is the limit with this one. You can share your funniest, most inspirational, unique, or whatever Christmas! Have a recipe to share? How about some decorating ideas? As long as it has something to do with Christmas, it’s fair game!

Our next blog hop will be when we return from our break!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Melissa

Comments

  1. Are some of the posts people have put up being deleted?

    • Kristi Seat says:

Sometimes, a blog address may be entered incorrectly and we may have to delete or edit the link because it doesn’t link properly. Consequently, the numerical order might change. If you like a specific blog, you may want to bookmark it for future reference in case the order shifts. We are so very appreciative of all blog entries and we always contact the blogger by email to let them know of the change. Hope that helps! Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      Blessings

  2. Charolette Ragsdale says:

I love all the great Christmas blogs! Great job ladies!

  3. Even though I have not had time to leave a comment on each blog, I have loved them all! You ladies are amazing and I treasure these raw and joyful glimpses into your hearts and souls. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  4. Jennifer N (OBS group leader) says:

I just want to share what a HUGE blessing that not only this OBS is, but the small FB groups as well. We have seen SO much going on in my small group. The rain is pouring down and I am thanking God!!

From a single mom’s ministry lifting up from doubted dreams to reality in a short period of time–reaching out to women both in OBS and locally.

Finally accepting forgiveness and ready to leave the past behind. AND getting involved with the church and finding a blessed mentor in her pastor’s wife.

Reaching out to a loved one who is very difficult and have not been able to.

Digging ditches in marriage and family. Obeying God, and through her humility, drawing in a ‘non-believer’ who now wants a relationship with Christ.

All I can say is, “Wow!”. What small steps of obedience (ditch digging), starting where you are, and loving God with all your heart can do for a hurting world.

I love each of you sweet ladies!!

  5. We love you too Jennifer! God is so good to put us all together and allow us all to see Him at work! To be in a group of women, not just our group but this entire study, that just want to be used by God to reach out to others is so humbling and encouraging!

  6. Samara (in England) says:

Just wanted to say, I’ve really enjoyed the Greater study over the past few weeks, and the blogs. Merry Christmas to all of you, and may you have a ‘Greater’ 2013!

  7. (can I ask a seemingly goofy question ?- although I am pretty techie, I am not getting this new froggie linky thingee! :-)

How are you girls getting your photo up there?
I “signed” up cuz it asked me to in order to link my post, but I really am not interested in joining yet one more site and getting more mail. There doesn’t seem to be any check mark to click to say “no mail please”.
    any suggestions?
