Let.It.Go. Blog Hop Week Four

I can’t believe we’re already in Week Four of Let.It.Go. Time has really flown by! I hope you’ll been enjoying these Blog Hops, we’ve certainly LOVED hearing from you! If you haven’t shared your blog yet, we hope today will be the day!

Joining us for the first time? Click HERE the video tutorial or refer to our Blog Hopping for Beginners post.

This week’s Let.It.Go. topics:

1. Well, that was easy. Check out this week’s reflection verse from I Thessalonians 5:18-26 NLT: “Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” We invite you to share how this verse helps motivate you to truly be thankful, no matter what, trust God and Let.It.Go!

2. iScream. Chapter Seven. On pages 139-143 in the Putting the Brakes on Busy section, Karen provides several tools to help us trim the fat off our schedules. Which tools will you use on your schedule? What are you able to let go so that you can regain some “schedule sanity”?

3. Serenity. Chapter Eight. Sometimes no matter what we do to try and control a situation…we simply can’t. How has this chapter helped you to discover the difference between what you can and can’t change? OR Can you look back at a time in your life when things were out of your control but you can see how God worked through it all?

4. I know this one wasn’t listed before, but here’s a BONUS topic! 48Hours. Yesterday Melissa gave us a, “48 hour Joyful~Praying~Thankful Challenge” based on I Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT. We would LOVE for you to blog about your experience and share with us here!

A sneak peek into next week’s topics:

1. Sound of Silence. Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation.  ~ Psalm 62:1 Many people describe their daily time with God as “Quiet Time.” How would you describe the time you spend with Him? Is it in the morning? Afternoon? Something new or something you’ve done for years?

2. Soul Control. Chapter 9. This was one packed chapter {aren’t they all}. Which of the five controlling methods listed in this chapter did you identify with and how will you get some Soul Control in the future? Will you memorize a verse? Spend time with God? Have a friend keep you accountable….?

3. What-EVER. Chapter 10. How did God speak to you through this particular chapter? Did it help you understand something that happened in the past or maybe help equip you for the future?
