This week’s topics:

1.  Summoned by Name. “I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” ~Isaiah 43:1b-3a
We have a deep reflection verse this week, so you may want to map it for more than three days! Dig in ladies!

2. Spiritual Vitamins. Chapter 9. We spend a great deal of time trying to keep ourselves physically healthy, but what about spiritually. What are some of your favorite “Spiritual Vitamins”? Which one do you take daily?

3.  #Blessed. Stress can cause us to overlook the many blessings God has poured out into our lives. Make a list of five things God has blessed you with. Once you have listed five, try for five more…then five more…then five more. You can add to this list whenever you have something new to add. I.E. I am thankful for the dirty laundry because my family is well clothed. OR I am thankful for the beautiful weather we had today. OR Thank You Lord for my family.

Next week’s topics:

1.  Healed. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. ~ Psalm 147:3 God raised HisSon in three days…imagine what He can do when you dig into this verse for three days! Map our reflection verse and share with us how your heart responds to His living and active Word.

2.  Breaking Point. Chapter 10. What has brought you to your breaking point? Once you share, end with a prayer turning over your circumstances to God so that He can begin to bring healing and restoration. Has God already brought you healing? Then share your joy with us so that others may be encouraged!

3.  Miracles. In this day and age, miracles still happen…we simply have a harder time believing them. If you have ever experienced or witnessed a miracle, we would LOVE to hear your testimony of His Glory

4.  #Blessed. Add to your #Blessed entry or start one today!

    • Pat (OBS small group leader) says:

Instead of “spiritual vitamins”, blog hops are our “spiritual caffeine”—spiritual encouragements that give us a jolt!!! :D

  5. I always enjoy reading what others are thinking and how they are responding to the book, lessons, scriptures… We all look at it from different ways and it’s great to connect & share with others, thank you everyone for sharing! Spiritual vitamins for me: OBS, FB groups, discussions, daily reading of devotions, Christian books, most important, the Bible… Listening to worship music- one of my FAVS! Also going to church, prayer… Thank you again for this timely study!

  6. Tracy Law says:

The blog hop helps me see how other women see God in a different light especially when it comes to stress. I always come to God with whatever is happening in my life and then I have a prayer partner lift something up to God along side of me. Stress has always been with me and my companion on the steep slope to my health crashing years ago. It still continues each morning I raise up and each evening I go to bed. My only hope of healing is in God and daily He does provide healing to complete exactly what I need to accomplish for that day or a nap to help me accomplish my leading for Him. I love this Chapter that I’m half way through I didn’t think of God’s Word as my Vitamin. I have always thanked God for the medication I take that allows me to get up and move until I sleep at night. I have always loved reading and growing in God’s Word and only lately I realize I’m finding it hard to focus on God’s Word because of our health issues and this new season in our lives. We have 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and none of them live in our town for the first time in 30 years. So I’ve been asking God “What place of ministry do you have for me now Lord?” Especially when stress aggravates my binge eatting and my health ailments and I love this study and God please help me to receive more of you and less of my eyes on me. All about You God! I love you and ALL of the encouraging and couregous women in this season of their lives and sharing!

  7. Renee D. says:

My top spiritual vitamins are: God’s word (daily), Church, this OBS, and another Friday night bible study. There are more but those were at the top of my list. I will take the challenge to incorporate more spiritual vitamins daily & to try new ones as well. Be blessed Ladies! :-)

  8. Marie (Ree) says:

I’ve missed my daily dose of Spiritual Vitamins the past couple of days and I am depleted! I can tell just how much it effects me when I miss my time with The Lord too. I’ve been extremely tired lately and have fallen into that trap of hitting the snooze button until I’m almost late for work! I go back to the Dr tomorrow to go over blood work, so I am thinking my thyroid meds may need to be adjusted again. I’m thanking Him in advance for a good report and looking forward to getting back on track. Blessings to all!

  9. I really enjoy the blogs. You ladies are amazing! Thanks .

  10. Thank you so much for the responses to my blog hop this week, and anytime. I love to write, and even more than that, I love to write about my relationship with God, the blessings He gives me, what He does in my life, reflecting on His Word. Positive and encouraging responses from you ladies is such an awesome pick me up. It just makes me smile almost to tears. Thank you so much. I love you all and I thank God for bring you all and this study into my life. God bless!

  11. Bree (OBS Facebook Leader) says:

Ladies, thank you for sharing your hearts with us!

  12. Rebecca says:

I love reading the blogs too! I love how the author of the one I read took the theme scripture and broke it down into little parts and applied it to her life!

  13. Katrina says:

So many of you verse mapped the reflection verse this week and in reading all of these I was truly blessed. I feel like I have such a deeper understanding and connection to this verse now. So many good verse mappers in this bunch!
