More to P31OBS Than You Might Think

Hi there! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

There is a lot more to P31OBS (Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies) than you might think! Yes we are an online study that takes place on a blog. Currently our home is on my personal blog, but did you know we are moving? That’s right, we’ve outgrown our current home and it’s time to upgrade to a bigger house! Later this month we will be moving to the official P31OBS blog that will be housed on the Proverbs 31 website. This is such an exciting time for us!

As we gear up for our next OBS (Online Bible Study), I want to make sure that you are fully equipped with everything you need to be informed about OBS and how it works. Over the next few days and weeks, I’ll be posting news you can use and all the options you have as a part of this OBS, so stay tuned.

For now though I just want to welcome you! As I write this, we currently have 13,300 ladies from 105 different countries signed up for our What Happens When Women Say Yes to God! Just think if we could all gather together in one place, we’d need a pretty big room! I think it’s such a beautiful picture of God’s love for His daughters from every race, culture, and place. We are sisters you know~because we have the same Father.

If you’ve been around me much, you know I love to give away stuff on my blog!  Whoo-hoo! Who wants a prize? Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!

I thought it would be fun if we got to know the author of What Happens When Women Say Yes to God, Lysa TerKeurst, by looking at some of her other books. I’ll ask you a question about one of Lysa’s books. You reply with the correct answer in the comment section and you will be entered to win that book plus our next OBS book, What Happens When Women Say Yes to God. Easy huh?

Here’s your question:

A few years ago, Lysa hit the NY Times bestseller list with this book about satisfying your desires with God, not food. What’s the name of the book? Tell us the title of this book and share if you have this same struggle or not.

Winner will be announced Sunday, July 7th, and we’ll have a new contest and some awesome prizes to be won!

Ok, friends, I’m out! Have a great weekend!

Melissa

Made to Crave. As I am a boredom eater, I guess I do have a problem with the whole food issue. God is a much better, and more permanent, boredom chaser than food. I know this, yet rarely apply it. Maybe it’s time to pick up this book – if I don’t end up winning it?

the name of Lysa’s book is “Made to Crave” In the past 4 months have lost 105″ all over my body and 35 lbs. I had a series of health issues that landed me in a short visit to the ER (one which I do not wish to repeat). I went to see a nutritionist at the advise of my MD. I have been doing pretty good maintaining the weight off but I do have to say I could not do it alone….I am so blessed to have GOD’s love and support and His word encouraging me every step of the way. When I need encouraging and I want to eat the whole pack of cookies as opposed to one, I turn to my Bible and I supplement my body with HIS WORD and PRAYER. the cravings go away!!!! God is Awesome.

  33. Made to Crave. I think this something that every woman would have to admit she struggles with….I know I do.
