Unglued Wrap Up

Did you think I just forgot all about you and our Unglued OBS?

Or maybe you thought I became unglued.

Or I fell off the face of the earth.

And possibly you didn’t even notice that I haven’t blogged in over a week.

Well, here’s the sitch.  I have been crazy busy. I know you can relate! Last week I had one child playing football in the first round of the state playoffs~we lost~boo hoo, one had a big marching band competition~3rd place, that’s good~ both of these took place out of town. I also spoke at a women’s retreat in the mountains last weekend and at a MOPs event just last night. To top this off, I had a awesome house guest from Bristol, England. Bless her heart, she was stranded here due to Hurricane Sandy for 12 days! It’s all been so fun, but my schedule has been thrown off just a bit. Each time I attempted to write…you could hear crickets chirp. Nothing. Nada. Blank space. My brain was full, but I couldn’t focus. I have wanted to write to wrap up this amazing study and touch base with y’all, but it just wasn’t happening.

As we wrap up Unglued, I want challenge you to not leave what you learned in Unglued behind. It is so important in today’s world to stay connected to Christians who will love, support, and encourage you to keep going and have faith. It’s so important to continue in Bible study and stay connected to God’s Word daily. That’s how real hope for real life is made real. We have to take hold of what we learn, what God tells us through His Word, and make that our foundation for everyday living. Yes, the Unglued study is over. But God and His Word are never over. Please don’t put it down.

We don’t have a study here for the next 2 weeks. Why not during that time, go through the Memory Verses we had in Unglued. Just take one per day and really reflect how God can use that verse for you personally today. Journal, blog, pray or do whatever you do to help you bring God’s Word alive in your life. Just see the difference it will make. And don’t just read the verses. Look them up in your Bible. If you don’t have a Bible, please let me know.

Our next OBS begins November 25th. It’s Greater by Pastor Steven Furtick. We have some awesome friends  joining us to help spread the word about this study! There will be lots of give aways, so stay tuned!  Sign up for Greater in the top right corner of my blog.
