Hi & Welcome to Everyday Hope 447

Dear Everyday Hope friends,

I remember 5 months ago I wrote a blog post and said “whoo hoo I’m back writing again” - then didn’t write again until now.

Well, I’m back … again … for real! hahaha.

I took a leap of faith - decided to proceed with fear and insecurity, since they were accompanying me anyway. They’ve held me back long enough. Silenced me. Since I was having trouble ditching them, I just decided to go ahead anyway.

I’m going to be honest, it’s late in the day, and I need to spend some time with my hubby before it’s bedtime, which for us is usually early! 👵🏼 👴🏼 💤 So, for this post re-introducing myself & the purpose that keeps me going, I’m going to copy and paste it from my new Facebook page.

I believe hope is one of our greatest gifts from God that we get to have 24/7 if we choose. Everyday. I believe this to be so true, that it's something I've devoted my life to sharing.

I am married to my Jr. High School Sweetheart & still madly in love with him today. Jeff Taylor

I have 4 grown and out of the house kids ages 24 through 32 plus 3 amazing additions via 3 of these kids!

I have the cutest little Malti-poo dog named Lilo. Yes she's named after Lilo & Stitch because nothing means more to me than my Ohana. (Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten.)

Oh and I LOVE college football! Any App State Mountaineers or USC Gamecocks out there?

I've worked at Proverbs 31 Ministries since October, 2007 and I love my job and the people I work with.

Proverbs 31 is a women's ministry where we equip women to "know the Truth, live the Truth, because it changes EVERYTHING."

Paste ends here. 😜

Along with this blog, I'll be sharing hope and encouragement on Facebook and Instagram @everydayhope447

447 stands for Philippians 4:4-7 which says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

This is my everyday hope. I cling to this passage every single day. I’ll dissect it at some point here, but like I said - gotta go see Jeff before he forgets who I am!

If you happen to land here somehow, please introduce yourself - and share: What’s your everyday hope?

Hope Forever,

Melissa
